Microchipping

Microchips have helped reunite pets with their family members. We offer microchip technology to aid in your pets recovery. Microchips provide a safe and permanent identification, in addition to traditional collars with identification and rabies tags.

The microchip is inserted under the skin between the shoulder blades of a cat or dog, much the same way a vaccine is administered. Inserting the microchip is simple and quick and causes minimal to no discomfort. Post-injection reactions are very rare and the encapsulated microchip remains in place permanently.

Veterinarians, animal control, humane shelters and other rescue organizations are provided with hand-held scanners that are used to detect the microchip, so that all stray pets are reunited with their owners.
