Our staff at the Madison Veterinary Hospital understands the difficult decision to euthanize a family pet. Our caring staff is available to answer any question you may have.
Our veterinarians can discuss your pet’s symptoms, if any other treatments are available, and how to pursue those treatments. Sometimes, treatment is not an option and euthanasia may be the best choice. The pace of euthanasia is guided by the owner. Our staff will provide you with as much time that is needed for you to say good-bye, and our doctors will be available throughout the entire procedure to answer any questions.
Euthanasia can be done at our hospital, but we also offer a house-call euthanasia. Please call our office for more information about this service.
After the passing of your pet, many options are available for aftercare. They include:
- Private cremation with ashes returned
- Private burial
For more information about any of the aftercare choices, please contact us and our staff will answer any questions.
